Budgeting is one of the most glossed over areas in many grant writing workshops. Come learn some practical aspects of Program Budgeting and then link this information to your resource development efforts! The VDC Grant Writing Approach shares many of the grant writing secrets that federal and state funders look for when awarding grant applications. There’s lots to share and learn in 2-hours. Be ready to work on getting your dreams funded. \nFacilitators: Kenneth Winfrey\, LCSW\, CYT and Jay Blackwell\, MA – both work at Umoja Behavioral Health\, PC in Albuquerque\, NM. DESCRIPTION:Join the New Mexico Allied Council on Tobacco (NM ACT) for a virtual day of action to relay a unified message to the State Legislature and Governor.  Activities include education activities\, information about our fight against commercial tobacco use\, and advocating for passage of meaningful legislation. \nNM ACT\, and our national partners\, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network\, American Lung Association\, and the American Heart Association present this Virtual Day of Action on February 2nd at 10:0am.  Advocates from across the state of New Mexico will join forces virtually this year to ask state legislators to prioritize issues important to New Mexico. Working together as a team\, we can successfully support laws\, policies\, and programs that help make a difference in the lives of thousands of people across New Mexico. \nClick HERE to register! \nEvery participant will receive a T-shirt to wear during our Zoom event. \n\nFor outside the city of ABQ and RR\, please email Devona@ChronicDiseaseNM.org with your t-shirt size and mailing address.
